South London Grand Prix

The South London Grand Prix returns to Herne Hill Velodrome on 13 & 14 June 2024, the big highlight of our racing calendar this year! Join us for two days of thrilling high-speed action and excitement as we bring top UK talent & international track racers to South London.

Racers from will compete for prizes and all important UCI qualification points at at this legendary venue, home to the historic 1948 London Olympics. We'll be celebrating once again the heritage of Herne Hill Velodrome in an Olympic year, as we bring the best upcoming track riders to compete in Madison, Keirin, Sprint and Omnium events over two days. Celebrating our local young talent too

The South London Grand Prix isn't just about the racing, there will be plenty of food, drinks, and entertainment to keep you busy throughout the day. So bring your friends and family, and get ready for a day at the track that you'll never forget!

RIDER REGISTRATION

Rider registration coming soon - we’ll be doing a first acceptance of riders on 2 April, after this date entry will be on a first come, first served basis - so please try to enter soon! Water:
Bring a reusable water bottle - there are drinking taps on site to refill.

Waste:
No glass on site. Bring reusable tupperware and reduce the amount of single use plastic you bring. Separate your rubbish: recycle as much as possible in marked bins on site. 

Are dogs allowed?
Yes, as long as they are kept on a lead whilst on site. Please bring your own water vessels and please take any mess with you and be aware it is likely to be crowded with loud noises (starter pistols are used in track racing).

Toasties & frites, Bianca Road Brew Co. beers, Volcano coffee, soft drinks. Please don’t bring your own drinks and help to support HHV!

Getting Here:
Parking on site will be reserved for accessible parking, racers and officials: please do not drive to the event. We're closest to Herne Hill (trains run to/from London Victoria, London Blackfriars and London St Pancras) and North Dulwich (trains run to/from London Bridge) stations, both a 10 min walk from our site.

There are lots of shared e-bikes available around South London and you'll be able to use these to travel to our site and from local accommodation too (Lime, Tier, Human Forest apps) - check individual apps.
