RACING & SPECTATING AT HHV
All our regular racing is free to watch at Herne Hill Velodrome: no need for spectators to book in advance, just come on down and enjoy!
Racing is integral to life at HHV and we host a huge number and variety of events each year. Whether you’re pinning on a number or simply want to pop down and watch some exciting racing with a drink, come and get involved.
We have regular racing every Wednesday, and most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer, with Jan’s Cafe serving a range of food and drink, including local craft beers and Volcano Coffee.

Our legendary weekly Track League, every Wednesday from 6pm with multiple youth and senior races. See the next champion racer here!
VET’S LEAGUE
APR-SEPT
The second Saturday of every month from 5.30pm onwards. A, B & C Open category racing open to women 30+ and everyone aged 40+.
WOMEN’S LEAGUE
APR-SEPT
The fourth Saturday of every month from 5.30pm onwards. A, B & C categories open to women riders, with options for those newer to racing.
SPEED LEAGUE
May-SEPT
A range of sprint and speed events open to all riders over 14. Third Sunday of the Month.

Saturday racing between May and September, hosted by local clubs.
